Ancient Record of “Remnant” of Israel Verifies Bible, Creation Story

An ancient Central American history, written by descendants of the “remnant” of Israel, is found to contain numerous verifications of historic episodes in the Bible, including the ministry of Jesus Christ, the creation of man in the image of God, and abundant testimony of Adam as the first man.

This history is discussed in depth in a digital book, “Escape to Epic World”, by Christine Davidson. In the Bible, the prophet Isaiah said that a remnant of Judah would go out of Jerusalem, and escape the Babylonian captivity. (Isaiah 37:32) With the remnant, readers escape the bondage of Babylon (Isaiah’s term for “the world”, or worldliness) and live a Christian way of life in the “promised land”.

Davidson’s thesis is that teaching about the creation and other stories of epic heroes in scripture will build character in youth, strengthen the moral fiber of society, and bring greater peace of mind to families in challenging times. Since the biblical language of scripture can be daunting, Davidson has dedicated her web site, Epic World, to preserving Judeo-Christian culture, and to developing appreciation of “epic literature”, of which the scriptures are an example.

The digital book is written to a general audience, with the theme that families can find peace of mind in applying the word of God in their lives. It is written in simple “dinner talk” format, making it easy for parents to teach their families inspiring epic stories at dinner time. Epic stories teach principles of Christian character, but do not address specific doctrine.
