Question: How do I guard my speech?
Read: D&C 88:121; 3 Nephi 12:33-37; Matthew 5:11
Ponder: Why do I need to guard my speech? How must I guard my speech in relation to my leaders (and others)? Why? How am I blessed when I do so?
Goal: What positive things should I do and say this week to show my support for my Savior, my leaders, my family and my friends?
Celebrate: What good thins do I already share about my family, friends and leaders?
Day 9
Question: How do I guard against pride?
Read: Proverbs 6:16-17, 8:13; Alma 5:28, D&C 38:39
Ponder: What is pride? Why do I need to guard against it? How can I do that?
Goal: How can I resist being prideful?
Celebrate: Who do I know that already shows a good discipline against pride? How do I feel toward that person?
Day 10
Question: How is the Lord my Light?
Read: Helaman 5:12; 1 Peter 2:21; D&C 84:43-47
Ponder: What difference has it made when I have tried to make decisions based on the question “What would Jesus do?”
Goal: What will I change to better follow the Lord’s light?
Celebrate: In what ways do I already follow the Savior?
Day 11
Question: How does the Lord want me to serve?
Read: D&C 4; Moroni 7:5-10
Ponder: Do I put the Lord first in my life? What am I doing to actively build the Lord’s kingdom? Does serving the Lord really make me
happy? How?
Goal: How can I serve the Lord?
Celebrate: What service have I enjoyed doing in the past? How did that service affect me?
Day 12
Question: How does the Holy Ghost help me become like Christ?
Read: 3 Nephi 27:20; D&C 11:12-14, 46:11-26, 121:45-46; Moroni 10:3-5; John 14:16-17, 26
Ponder: Why is it important to know the truth? Why should I desire the Holy Ghost to be my constant companion? How do I accomplish this?
Goal: How will I seek the inspiration of the Holy Ghost?
Celebrate: What experiences have I already had in following the inspiration of the Holy Ghost?
Day 13
Question: Do I love the Savior? Why?
Read: John 13:34-35. 14:15; 3 Nephi 13:20-21, 24, 33
Ponder: How does the Savior’s love for me affect me? How does my love for Him affect me? How do I show my love for Him?
Goal: What can I do to show my love for the Savior?
Celebrate: How have I felt the Savior’s love in my life? How does He feel my love for Him?
Day 14
Question: What is the pure love of Christ?
Read: Moroni 7:40-48
Ponder: Have I felt a greater love for the Savior these past 14 days? Why? How have I felt that love?
Goal: What can I do to continue to seek after the pure love of Christ? What changes will I continue to make?
Celebrate: How have I become closer to the Savior by following in His footsteps? What difference has this made in my life?
