Inspiration

I laid down on the grass one day
unhappy about the world's way.
And as I lay there feeling blue
a little bug came into view.
Unaware of where I laid,
it skittered up a grassy blade.
And as I watched, it struggled on
across the wide expansive lawn.
I watched until it crossed that sea,
a billion blades of greenery.
Then I stood and walked away
resolved to face another day.
